HaHa! Good one! Actually, we fly to a skydiving place where they provide the ride. The only time you'd want to jump out of my plane woud be if it was on fire 
I say go for the 100hp. After returning to riding after a long hiatus I can't believe how lousy drivers are these days. Cell phones, vastly more aggressive and with enormous tuna boat SUVs. You need a bit more power these days. People go about 90 on the freeways, and even economy cars have 140 hp.
It's not really about ego unless you feel bound to use the power ALL the time, or try to impress people.
