Hey now, I wouldn't expect her to go out of her way and come to Sylvan...

(It's only 2hrs...190kms :newsflash: )

I'd do that ride again...just let me know and maybe we can grab a cup at Timmies or something...

Later.

Hey girls,
just wanted to wine... I told my good friends daughter (11yrs going on 25) that as soon as I got my backrest put on my bike I would take her to the shore for an ice cream. I'm supposed to pick her up this Sunday - and I had to put my bike in the shop today. I know she'll understand, but I feel bummed. I remember as a kid if someone didn't come through with a 'fun' promise it always made me sad :(
I'm in Seattle, so keep your fingers crossed for Sunshine next Sunday :)

Peace Out,
Noobie

Make the trip via other means this week, and if it's sunny next weekend, do it again on the bike...

I was feeling somewhat unsettled today. I felt my first earthquake. At first I thought I was having dizzy spells...but then so were a few other people....then someone noticed the overhead lights swaying..so we all had to get out of our office building.

It took a couple of hours for the "unsettled" feeling to go away.

@Blues2cruise,
I think I saw that on the news - I live in Seattle.
Ya, earthquakes are a very weird feeling - like you're dizzy or light headed. It's even worse if you're in your car - you think your front end alignment is going out or you've hit some oil on the road and are slipping - it's frightening to lose control like that.

P.S. sleep with your helmet on - hehehehe

Peace Out,
Noobie

Thanks to my pal drbar, I got motivated to ride my motorcycle today.

It felt good...perhaps I am over my slump now. When I come back from my trip, I'll get in some autumn riding. :)

Hey Blues, good to hear you've been back on your bike. I know you'll enjoy your holiday break, then let's cross our fingers for a good long warm Autumn to give you plenty of time to ride.

About the earthquake, I woke up to one once and it was the weirdest feeling. Thankfully it wasn't that big of a deal. In your case if you had to evacuate it sounds like it was probably a bit worse and definitely would be unsettling!

Noobie, I hope your bike comes out of the shop soon so you can take your little pal for her treat! ;)

I left town this morning by car and drove inland....nice sunshine, air conditioning, tunes on the CD player, I was actually smiling on my drive this afternoon.
After dinner I took my camera in my car with me and went for a short drive to get some good light. Again, I was smiling.

I think I'll sleep well tonight. :)
