Damn, that's a sweet bike. I'm kind of stuck in my black paint preference for motorcycles, but the blue looks good on yours. I really like the seat. The stock mirrors really don't bother me to be honest. I guess they don't fit with the rest of what you've done, but I'd probably live with it. Gotta keep an eye on the wife you know

Are those Hard Krome pipes on yours? I have a buddy with the same bike and he has V&H longshots running without baffles and it sounds real good. How do you like yours?

Instead of those spikes on the front forks you should have gotten something like this

I think it looks a lot cleaner.

^^ I thought about maybe using those but "I" like mine better. Different strokes I guess. :D

They just went better with the scheme of the bike I am after...IMO

My pipes are stock. I have my eye on some Cobra Slashdowns (see pic below), but that'll have to wait until next season. I spent $800.00 on my seat last year, another $800.00 on custom body work and paint this year, and I just bought a new Chevy Colorado crew-cab six weeks ago so....the pipes and Power Commander (another $800.00) will have to wait until next season. I just can't justify it this year considering all the stuff I have already installed (besides the body work).

Another "problem" I am having, besides financial justification versus timing, is that I haven't found a set that looks as good as the stock pipes. The stockers aren't quite a loud as I'd like, but I love the looks of them and so far the aftermarket has been a major disappointment.

(*that pic is of a Suzuki M95, by the way*)

Have you seen this one from xtremerevolution?

^^^Yeah I have seen that one, there's just "something" about it that doesn't quite "do it" for me ya know? I just have very specific tastes, pretty picky really, like you and your pipes.
I agree that your stocks look great. Have you tried to gut them to make them louder? My stock pipes were fairly easy to gut and they sounded great. I did this to them within 24 hours of buying it, lol. I just couldn't take it being "whisper quiet" on a V-twin.

That'd be relatively easy...if it weren't for that pesky catalytic converter in the middle. :x

Maybe one more upgrade. Seems like you still have a stock rear tire and fender. A nice wide tire will look sweet!

Yeah I like the fat tire look but I don't want to spend THAT much money to do it.

I am going to cut the rear fender similar to the front and do away with the taillight/tag and just flush mount a LED light bar in it. Then once I lower it 2" it will have to do.

I am all about doing mods that "I" can do myself to save $$$ when I can.
