That's not a lack of bravado, that's a surplus of maturity IMHO. I'd ride with you any day. :righton:

Agreed, i can honestly say i've never intentionally popped a wheelie, and didn't like it when i've done them accidentally!
Don't give up.

Not now, not soon, not after being continually knocked down.

If you never give up, you can never truly fail.

ive got the front wheel up on my bikes accidently and didnt like that feeling much. i thought about practicing actually doing wheelies on purpose just to get used to the feeling so its not so much of a shock when it does happen on accident.

I just changed the bars on my bike to put my weight a bit further forward so it didn't happen again!

So, do you plan on doing a few stoppies or wheelies in a car?

Now THAT I'd pay to see!

Getting back to the thread, defensive driving techniques can also be very usefull. This involves finding and staying in your own bubble. Room in front , behind, and as much on the sides as you can, Sometimes this involves some wriggling to find the right place, if someone is tailgating you, move on to find the bubble somewhere else. If there is a hazard look beyond it to the safe place. On the track under passing the rider looks into the hole he is going into, not at the rider he is passing. Also be as bright as you can, be visible.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R
