This is your FIRST motorcycle, not your ONLY one.
Get the one you like. Don't stress too much that it be 'perfect' for you. Just count on making a change in a year or two or three. Learn all you can on this one, and when you're ready, you can do some serious, intelligent shopping (By the way, that sales guy is a KEEPER!) for your NEXT motorcycle.
Until you've got some serious miles under your wheels, its hard to really know what you want just yet. Cause you don't know what you don't know.
