After sneaking out with my old mans 77 Sportster for two years I bought a 74 sporty as my first street bike. But somewhere there is about a dozen dirt bikes starting with a old Honda 50 and going up to a 1990 (brand new) Honda 250 that I played a part in running the wheels off of. I wonder whatever happened to those old dirt bikes.

My first bike was for the dirt when I was 15... an IT125

My first street bike was a Ninja 250... I rode the "pee" outta that thing for the short half year I owned it.

Neither of those are mine, but I did google the pics.

first bike I ever owned was a Honda C90 road it through my naibours fence when I was 8 years old, the first bike I had on the road was a 1982 YAMAHA DT125, had it for a few years, then I had a air cooled Yamaha RD 400, lots of fun...then I moved to a Suzuki GS550, and so on...

Not quite the same as this:Image

It had been dropped so many times by the previous owner it failed the MoT on everything

Honda did a 125cc version I would love to get my hands on. First Bike on the road? 1996 CG125, also Honda, in my avatar.

First and only bike is a roached-out 454.

The wife had a bike first, Suzi Blvd S40, which I learned to ride on (I talk a lot of $4!t for someone who was never on a bike before he was 36!).

Used to get up about 5am on weekends to take her bike out when I knew she wouldn't want to ride.

Finally, found the 454 for sales from someone she worked with. Later I found out I paid sticker price! - 1985 sticker price... $1000... Oh to have a time machine!

I loved this bike, and am so sad I don't have it anymore. Rarely worked, had to jump on the seat to get the left turn signal to go on, and the neutral light never worked. Still it was a great time learning on it.

Numerous recks for the field but my first road bike was AR125 tuned to within an inch of its life.So it was pretty much un ridable except in its tiny power band. The things you do at 17
