Isn't that an EX500? I'm sure the speedo goes to 140 mph, but at 120, you've just about topped it out. The top gear's a little tall and there isn't enough spare hp to overcome the high drag above 120.Dirtytoes wrote:my ninja only goes up to around 140 mph though i've on taken it to 120.
How fast have you gone?

On the Silver Bullet to the left I have run a little over 95 mph, It has been run at 120 mph by my nephew. The Vulcan I have run it about 100 mph where it starts to wobble due to the shield. I usually ride at legal speeds.

I've taken mine as fast as it will go. The speedometer stops climbing when it shows 186 but you can get about another 500 rpms out of it before is quits climbing. I know the speedometer is off a bit but the bike is limited at 186 actual. At that speed you don't look down much.
I did that a few times and don't plan on doing it again. Things go by way too fast.

I don't recommend it, it is one of the more stupid things I've done in my life.Dirtytoes wrote:street speed?! holy cow....thats fastRelsek wrote:I've taken mine as fast as it will go. I figured it out one time, 186 is equivilent to 88 yards per second. That's almost the length of a football field every second.
