Back to topic...........................

Well, this week I get my bike back to complete the first long term goal(ish) I'd set for myself last year. Actually doing several of them all at once when I pick the bike up from the shop.... Chroming everything on the handlebars (C'mon its a Harley...its expected!) and changing out the pipes (vance & Hines Big Shots). Then I'll put on the Ghost Brackets myself to use the saddlebags that should arrive at about the time I get the bike back :?

Next week, do one of the other goals...major bike rally when I head up to Daytona Bike week. this'll be a practice run for the real goal of Sturgis.

This leaves the following to be completed;

1) Sturgis Riding all the way from sunny florida
2) Cross country ride
3) Buying a sportbike....yep :wink:

BTW...thanks to everyone here with the help and advice on the pipes and ghost brackets...invaluable resource as usual......

His remark wouldn't have bothered me that much if it weren't for the fact that I am one of the few people here at TMW that actually uses the "Preview" button before every post I make. As such, Sev should know I wouldn't submit the post if I saw a scroll bar at the bottom. That's what I get for allowing myself to be held to such a high standard.

Ill steer this back on topic...

My long-term bike goals?

-Do some track days and get a knee down.
-Be able to do tight u-turns without a shade of worry.
-Learn to read traffic better.

I also want to have 2 bikes in the stable. I want a seriously fast sportbike as one(maybe a cbr1000) and a sport-tourer as the other(maybe a Sprint ST).

Actually zoo, sev is right. It does add a scroll bar and it is very very annoying.

I don't know why it's not showing up on your screen but it does mine (I'm using firefox 1.7).

Perhaps it's parsed on yours and not on ours, I don't know.

Well I agree it's annoying. Thing is, I was unaware that I had done it since my machine is unaffected for whatever reason. You might wanna run Windows Update and see if you're missing anything. I generally abbreviate my links but was bouncing back and forth between here and VROC and got a little lazy. But I still previewed the post and saw nothing out of the ordinary.

See I was gonna say that but you can get paralyzed and not die. And then you may as well be dead cause life would suck if you were paralyzed (or at least I would think so).
