Yeah, I'll move it. It started with motorcycle intent, but I did say going elsewhere was cool. It has been an interesting thread so far.

Well, by definition anybody for gender equality would be a feminist too as feminism means equality for women.
Wikipedia wrote:As a social movement, feminism largely focuses on limiting or eradicating gender inequality and promoting women's rights, interests, and issues in society. It also incorporates concern about the effect of gender roles on men, and encouragement for men to change and transcend traditional male roles and norms of masculinity.

Yes, gender stereotypes hurt both genders. When they do that you should "flip" too. Most men don't do a thing and it just makes it worse.

Certain family members, people on the bus, former father-in-law....
It's annoying, because in the past 54 years the immigrants (legal and otherwise) that I've met are the hardest working people I know.

It isn't lazy immigrants. The stereotype is lazy mexcians. On a side note, I hate how people stick up for illegal immigrants, just makes me want to take a bat and beat their "O Ring".

Uh huh...I haven't seen too many feminist rally's protesting on behalf of a man. I believe in gender equality, but I also believe in gender equal responsibility, which makes me non-feminist.
lazy immigrants
I dont think immigrants are lazy. I believe that the work ethic of people who come here from other countries is far greater than Americans. Thats not to say about specific moral ethics, but immigrants are far more willing to do whatever is necessary to support themselves and their families. They do the jobs that Americans aren't willing to do. Americans, IMO, usually just end up on the street begging because they are too lazy to do horrible jobs for low pay.

Ugh! I just made a stereotype :frusty: oops!

these are usually the ones far removed from actual experience involving the immigrants.wait until they get a few token ones in the neighborhood and 6 months later there are 20 living in single family houses.then one year later the whole neighborhood is like this and the property values go in the toilet.then maybe they will notice their tax money being drained for health care by people that have never paid a dime of tax.

Yeah I hate the stereo typing of tattoos. It seems like people look at those with them like we have something loose in our heads or that we are crazy kind of reckless type of person. I for one am one of the most laid back dudes you'll meet. I'm a father to 3 beautiful daughters and have a degree in electrical engineering. All my tattoos are all about my daughters and our family. When people see me in the summer in a tank top with 5 tats they are totally shocked. You can see they are like I didn't think you were "THAT TYPE". Most people are so caught up in what people think of them and they are never a free spirit. Well that's too bad for them!
