Akira is not exactly a kid movie.
But it is very good. I cant wait for the bikes in akira to be made.

Yah, no freaking kidding.. last time I watched a kid movie, im pretty sure there werent any intestines showing..
and my embarrassing movie is one i watched on netflix awhile ago..
Rainbow Bright and the Star Stealers
Here's the scoop.. when i was a kid (6 years old) i watched that movie and loved it.. my mom taped it off cable and I watched it a few times... before she taped over it with her SOAPS! I was crushed (again, i was 6), so when i saw it on netflix, i had to watch it.. It was pretty embarrassing (was watching it with a female friend.. i still havent lived it down yet) but i was glad.. and it was interesting to see all that i remembered from the movie.. and to see how horribly "kiddy" it all was.... at least i got it out of my system!

Depends how old you are. From my end of the telescope a kid is anyone under 25.

It's good to hear you guys actually like the occasional "chick-flick."
My favourite embarrassing movie is
Labyrinth. And, as a true 80's child, when I was about 7 or 8 years old I had the biggest crush on the Goblin King (aka David Bowie).

I love Pixar, Labyrinth, Truely Madly Deeply, When Harry Met Sally, 50 first dates and lots of other films besides. I'm not embarressed by any of the films I like though.
The only embarressing moment I've had involving films were with an ex-girlfriend. I took her to see Devils Advocate on a recomendation that failed to mention the subject of the first ten minutes - I couldn't cope with watching that sitting next to my then girlfriend and almost walked out - and the second time was the same ex-girlfriend who was by then pregnant, watching Seven with friends - when one of them pipes up with the original script for the ending.
Both times I just wanted to die.
