I am recovering from a bad cold, so my hubby dropped me off and picked me up at the train station so I didn't have to walk to/from home!

Congrats!
What made me happy today was just riding to class. I "had" to ride on to campus about four times today, oh darn!

I sat on my bike today for the first time in a week. This made me very happy, poor besotted fool that I am.
For one week I haven't seen a single wheeled vehicle or a single road. I haven't smelled petrol fumes, or had to get out of the way quickly on a pedestrian crossing. I haven't even heard the roar of car or bike engine in the distance. I've been on holiday for a week in Venice.
But last night I said goodbye to a bright , sunshiney and magical city and touched back down on these chill and foggy shores. This morning, I got up, went out into the back garden and sat on my bike. And that made me happy.
