This week is a "self" week....which means I made a point to have zero obligations to be anywhere or do anything....so after work I had a leisurely ride home via roads I don't usually go. It also was not raining for a change so the ride was relaxed and pleasant.
I also ...albeit late.... finally filed my 2009 taxes...one of the reasons I am having a "self" week. I need to catch up on some things.

drove the truck and sighed wistfully every time i saw a motorcycle.

you probably got that image from the internet. I know I have seen a picture of a hottie on a yellow crotch rocket wearing a bikini and pink assless chaps. OMG was she hot even tough she had a full face helmet on lol.

course you never see that in michigan.

Hey Z, don't we all remember that first day out in serious traffic! It's easy to judge by what you imagine to be other people's expectations and underestimate the personal significance of events like this.

Congratulations, man - another rite of passage successfully negotiated (there will be plenty more ). Give yourself a pat on the back and a cold beer, or whatever it is you like to do to celebrate!

I rode to work in a monsooon this morning. Then tried to get my work done but the computer system at work is so slow and keeps freezing...
After work I cruised around looking for a formal garden. It took a while, but I found one.
