I can't imagine there not being a mechanic who can tune the suspension at the dealer.
Surely this is a common thing. I would imagine there would be a sheet available somewhere that lists the appropriate settings for the weight of a particular rider. As I understand it, it's just a dial that you turn.

i'd do it myself if there was a guide like that for my bike.
although i still have to take it to a shop since the rear shocks preload can only be adjusted by a special tool.

yep... nothing in the tool kit.
the manual specified it that it's not recommended to do it yourself bec it said there's a special tool to adjust.
although if you really wanted to... you can use a screw driver and hammer it. i wouldn't want that though.

Are you sure its not just a torx or hex screw?

Im surprised, even my GS500 has one in the toolkit. Maybe you should just borrow another riders

. I really dont feel you need to take it to a shop to adjust the read preload.

well like i said... i'd do it myself if i knew what setting to use for my weight.
and do you know what kind of tool is needed for it?

Yeah, a hammer and a big screwdriver.
Up is softer preload and down is harder preload. Simple.

i already knew that but like i said... i don't want to hammer it and i don't know what setting to use.
