Yeah sister's ok. Bruised and possibly broken ankle, but ok otherwise. Bike is ok, scratched up and smeared paint, but I'm proud of her, she didn't even drop it.

Re: What did you do today...
The freak did I do to these people? If my calling and texting to see what's going is annoying then they should stop being wussies and tell me up front. I mean do all my friends think they're too gosh good the hang with me? "fudge" it if they want to start hanging out or start acting like friends they can call me (which I doubt and in fact they would probably rejoice).

So what did you do today?

I went for a nice ride today. I went up north toward St. Joe. Rode some nice hilly, curvy, two-lane farm roads. I had lunch in Leavenworth, at a Chinese Buffet. All you can eat. Now I get to go to work.

Re: What did you do today...
My guy and I were having a nice ride home via RedRoof's road...(Sunshine Coast on the way home from a visit to my Mom's)....when he got stung by a wasp in his neck. I had to lead him to the local hospital....turns out he's extremely allergic....
So...I hung around the hosptial for awhile....then when the doctor deemd him out of danger, we rode to the ferry. I escorted him home to make sure he was ok. He was a little bit dopey from the meds they gave him so I did not think he should ride alone.
Sigh....then after coming home, I cut and raked the grass.

When did you get a Buell? That's gotta be a nice ride out with an engine like that. My butt got rained out in the middle of my ride and for some reason tar snakes are making me slip, something I haven't experienced on other bikes.Johnj wrote:I went for a nice ride today. I picked it up last Oct. It's my around town bike. It's very fast.

Re: What did you do today...
well put the van back together after spending 3 days trying to find a shorted wire that doesn't exist all because my check engine history code has a u1300 (yes I have an OBD II scanner that reads enhanced codes as well as does live data). But along with that u1300 is a u1040 (failure to communicate to ABS) U1096 (failure to communicate to IPC) and a P1626 theft deterrent fuel enable circuit. What does this mean? It means that I have to take it in and pay someone $80 to hook up a Tech 2 to the thing that can communicate with each device individually and will be able to more accurately tell me if my hunch is right and the IPC is bad. The problem is now that I put everything back together the issue I was having is no longer there. Well at least not yet.

Re: What did you do today...
Took the kayak in the water for the first time, spent a 1/2 hour paddling around just off shore of the camp grounds... I'm sure I will get the hang of it eventually.
Tomorrow morning it's off to Penticton for breakfast, 63 Km away but hey my belle calls....
