Relaxed today... just returned yesterday from a moto trip to Michigan. I put in about 1,300 miles - lots of great riding. Even though I'm back home, I still have three days left of my little vacation. I'll be riding around locally with a friend tomorrow. Yay!

Cheers,
Loonette

I spent an hour detailing the bike before heading out for a local ride in the Brighton, Michigan area

My bike with Kim's bike. It was the first time that we've actually managed to go riding together (well, on our own bikes anyway - she used to ride on the back of mine once in a while)
Oh, we were in Hell, Michigan

After work I washed and polished my motorbike. Then I rode over to a friend in need's place. She was having a rough time....I took her some wine. I drank water....

Oh, bugger!! I knew you were somewhere near by. It was a very impromptu rideout (my friend works midnights, and didn't even know when or where we were going until the last minute). Next time I'm out that way, I'll definitely give you a head's up!

Cheers,
Loonette

Burned (melted) a piece of the zipper off my Teknic Supervent jacket. Set it down across the bike when warming up -- it was too far forward, a bit of it was touching the headpipe. Duh. There's about an inch or so of zipper just sort of ..... missing. (The zipper's plastic.) Gotta take it downtown to the tailor, see if they can put in a new zipper.

if not, it might be worth calling the mfr - sometimes they'll replace it free :) way cheaper than a new jacket either way!

hehe ok I lied. you were actually about 2 hours from me. Otsego is on the other side of the state bout 30 minutes south of Grand Rapids.

Also If there are any we are looking for a 3rd shift Journeyman Boiler tech. Starting pay is $21.98 (negotiable as far as i know) and top pay is $25.35. Not sure we are going to find a tech that is out of a job needing one willing to come down to this rate of pay but if you guys know of anyone have them put my name on the app :D. Ill split the $200 I get for them staying on the job 90 days. PM me for my name... There is a 60 cent shift premium for this position as well.

also in the next month to 2 years we will be looking for numerous electricians and mechanics (most likely looking for dual trade but taking electricians expecting them to go dual trade) for these positions. We have about 10 guys retiring here soon. 1 this month and a few in June next year and then a few the year after.
