Morning : a short ride with the Nightster (100 km)

forgot to mention about 3 weeks ago someone decided to end their life. He was about 2 years younger than I am left behind a wife and 4 kids.

How did he do it? Well he took his motorcycle and ran it right into the front of an oncoming semi driver. His bike hit every single tire and there wasnt much left of him. Then the semi started on fire cause it punctured the gas tanks. Luckily the driver got out and had minor injuries.

I really have no sympathy for people who do this. I do have sympathy for the people it hurts. He now has 4 children that will never get to grow up knowing/learning from him. He also has a truck driver that now has his death on the truck drivers mind for the rest of his life. he actually called family 30 min before hand to tell them he was gonna kill himself. Very sad and upsetting situation. What made things bad for me is I had to ride through the family members grieving on the side of the road (away from the accident). Which they were ALL staring at me (even every single cop). Course at the time I had no idea someone had killed themselves as they had the road blocked off so I had to take a big detour around the incident. however I had that feeling that someone on a bike had died due to the overwhelming devil stares I was getting which was confirmed when I got to work (I work with lots of volunteer fireman and women).

Either way finally decided to get it off my chest. have a fun filled day.

I fully agree with you. What a selfish person. This is about as selfish of a thing as this person could have done.
