I dunno about the other person but I got tempted to lick my glossy white MacBook because it looked so smooth and sleek... I actually have the urge to right now... I mean I can always clean it right?
Hopefully you clean it

Once I saw how glossy and smooth it was I tempted to lick it right out of the box. Now that it's been 1 month of owning it I clean it everyday (just like all my other electronics). Hell, I have the Apple Mighty Mouse and I wanted to lick that too... it looks like a delicious treat.

Maybe its because my computer originally was in a BIG UGLY beige case, an d I eventually painted it black, and the paint didn't smell good, and i've seen the dust that gets on it, and.... well... there is a shiny side where the windows is............... Now I do wonder what it tastes like.

iPod parody.
PC's: we don't keep changing our product, we always suck and that's something you can count on.

Err isn't an apple now based around IBM PC architecture in a shiny, non-upgradable box, now?
Thought they'd given up making their own custom architechture, please do correct me if I'm wrong

They're all based on the same or similar though overpriced components compared to Windows PCs. The OS is what is supposedly desired though I see no difference between the two. iPods suck with their garbage sound chip and more flash than function.

You keep accusing me of that, but that doesn't make it true.
Not one comment I've made so far in this thread is untrue or unfounded, and I'd appreciate it if you didn't keep accusing me of lying.
It's rude, and it's wrong.
I am sorry but mr shake is right. Media Player classic (just one example there are many others) is LISCENCED to play dvd's and it CAN and WILL legally run on any linux operating system. Though your average user wont necessarily know how to use it properly. I notice more and more how misinformed you are when it comes to technology. Maybe you should walk away from technology and leave it to people who actually do know what they are talking about.
as for hard to use pft linux is just as easy to use as windows. You obviously dont use it much if you think its not. I was thrown into unix when I started college and it wasnt that hard to learn back then (granted unix and linux are 2 diff operating systems but even back then they were just about the same thing).
