I watched the Rememberance Day ceremonies and gave my two minutes silence and shed a few tears.

Thank you all vets and service people who still serve.

I had today off for Veterans Day. I went and got my new glasses, then sat around the house getting use to them. They are safety glasses made to ANSI Z87.2. They are not stylish.

Oil change day. Now @ 3000 km on my new bike.

That's exactly the right attitude to have. Better to still be barely ahead after repairs are covered than to be that much farther behind again.

I had winter tires installed on my car.

went hunting for the first time in my life (finally could afford it haha). Owner of the property said no Doe. Saw 6 doe all came within 10 feet of where I was hiding. could have shot all 6 of them at any point in time but didnt because the owner told me no. Either way I didnt see one friggen buck.

That's always how it works man!
I got lucky and managed to get my elk this year, but about two hours before I saw him I heard a bunch of crashing behind me, turned around with my rifle up... Buncha freaking deer hopping along merrily then stopped about 50 yards from me and started grazing... haha

well went out again today and didnt see one single deer. Bunch of squirrels and hawks... Oh and a bunch of stupid crows.


Gonna try again Friday.

You could come to my company, stand in the parking lot, and shoot the damned deer. Even bucks. I wish somebody would shoot 'em.......

lol I wish I could shoot the ones where I work. at any one time I can look out and see 20 deer.
