Gonna try again Friday.
You could come to my company, stand in the parking lot, and shoot the damned deer. Even bucks. I wish somebody
would shoot 'em.......
lol I wish I could shoot the ones where I work. at any one time I can look out and see 20 deer.
Archery is your friend....

Until a half dead deer with an arrow sticking out of its neck runs into the parking lot smashing into peoples cars.

Found out from the shop today my Bonneville needs a clutch rebuild. Needs new plates and springs, basically a whole rebuild. I thought the clutch had been slipping - I was right. Bike's got 22K miles on it. I thought that was a little early for needing a clutch rebuild, service manager said no, that's within the bounds of normal.
What do y'all think?

That's definitely within the bounds of normal. Springs shouldn't have gone out that soon, but if you practice slow speed stuff and slip the clutch a bit it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

Might be a case of "we have it open anyway, so let's replace the springs". If that's how they're thinking I don't mind, as I kind of think that way myself.

ugh still no buck after 5 days. Well no buck within range that is.... Gonna have to try a different tactic now because the wind is blowing right in their direction so it will do me no good to sit in the blind.

missed not one but Two bucks today grrr.... Guess thats what I get for using a 10 year old gun that has never been shot. First shot was low but I think I hit it by the way it jumped but no blood or hair anywhere. Second shot was too high... funny though the buck just kind of walked away like nothing happened....
so yeah im upset with myself even though this is my first time EVER hunting and its been 20 years since I shot a shotgun...

Went out riding this morning in windy, 32 F., weather. Max speed around 55 m.p.h., but most around 40 m.p.h. on country roads.
I'm not a hunter, and I haven't seen any deer here in southern WI since hunting season started.

You mean you went out without sighting the thing in??? That's the first thing on every hunter's checklist!
