yeah, occasionally.

it's an expensive hobby as well.

$13 for 50 rounds w/ my .45

plus, range fee $20-30 and targets.

pssh, expensive is taking the .380, 9mm and .45 out and buying 100rd for each - then actually shooting them all.

Oh yeah, to save a bit, buy your own eyes, ears, targets and ammo not at the range. If you must use range ammo, still buy your eyes, ears and targets elsewhere.

Walmart has whitebox ammo that suffices. Otherwise, order it in bulk from MidwayUSA.

what i used to do was leave one target. then i photocopy it at work. i save a lot of money on buying targets.

eye and ear protection is free at the range i go to.

the biggest reason i don't go there a lot nowadays is i don't have friends who are into it. i get bored and use the bullets too fast when i go there alone.

Werd. There's a place not 20 minutes from here that costs $25... For the year.

PS - The new Haste The Day album "Pressure The Hinges" is pretty amazing. I think it might just be their best yet.

No kidding, in WA I joined a Sportsman's club for a year, $40. Free range access anytime, they just give you the gate code and ask that you follow the rules and clean up after yourself

Ah, well this is a back woods range. No gate, middle of no where. You need a guide the first time you go to it cause it's so far out there for most people. I like the place a lot, my friend and i go when it's nice out. His guns and FID, i buy the ammo, he cleans the rifle (Yugo SKS). There's even a nice little spotters tower, 30 feet high maybe, that makes a good shooting platform They have a pistol range and a rife range with targets at 50, 100, and 200 yards.

Shooting makes me yell "THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

Or "RED SAUCE ON PASTA!!!"

I've been attending a Shao Lin school of training. They first focus on training the body and how to harness energy for efficiency. Then they teach you the forms and the different styles of combat. Unfortunately it takes a while to learn it and it takes commitment.


Back to the EU licensing rant: The new test will require larger training areas to practice an aggressive brake and swerve technique. It probably will be the best for noobs but the fees will go up and eventually make getting a bike license much harder which in turn may make rates for existing bikers go up.

Sure, it's just speculation from many magazines but I'm sure it'll make it's way to the US.

all the highways within 150KMs of me are closed due to ice....
