Yep. I'm pretty sure the picture you post must be taken within 3 days of posting.
Also, the boat doesn't have to be a large boat, just one someone has let rot away because they lost interest in boating or couldn't afford to repair and let it rot.

Right you are it must be current. I was not submitting an entry - just wanted to show off an old pic as I am also a long ways away from an old boat at the moment (unless a Buick counts....). KIDDING!

hahahahaha...that reminds me of a time long ago when I needed to bring something large home...it would not fit into our car at the time....we used my neighbour's Chevy Impala. Now there was a boat. hahaha

If you think that's a boat... My Grandma has the stereotypical old person's car. That's right, she's got a Cadillac Sedan Deville (the 4 door version).
Ironically, my Camry had the same wheelbase as the Cadillac, but the Caddy weighs in at over 2.5X what the Camry did, and had a V8 instead of a 4 cylinder. The thing handles like a cruise ship, brakes like they're made of wood, and an open differential on a V8 with horrible suspension, so creates one tire burnouts anytime you try to give it any sort of gas.

I remember gassing up one day and seeing an older blue sedan of the boat variety pull up next to me at the same time as a ministry of natural resources 90s suburban was gassing up and the car was longer. Lol

Soooo...I went for a ride this evening....
I had asked my friend if he wanted to go for a short ride.....so he took this next picture for me..of me...and my bike and the derelict boat.
The boat is a relic fishing boat....it has been there for years. But more and more derelict boats are showing up in other parts of the river. This one is quite out of the way from congested housing areas...so it doesn't bother anyone. Some of the others in other areas are being abandoned in developed areas....annoying the residents. (I read about it...I haven't actually gone to see them)....part of the problem is that the Fraser River has always been a working river....but now new housing developments are being built....it's kind of like buying a house by an airport and then complaining about the noise of the planes.
I'll put some thought into the next challenge and make a post shortly.
