That is really a shame there with the car dealership experiences. I've heard they "size-up" a customer once they see you on the lot before coming to talk to you. Strange no one bothered once you came into the showroom, they usually jump all over you there.blues2cruise wrote:I went to Langley after work today.

Then I went to the Kia dealer.....nobody could be bothered.....
Then I went around the block to the used car dealer.....same....
I think I will go back to Metrotown Mitsubishi where I not only got acknowledged, I got my questions answered, a test drive and a follow up phone call.......guess who is getting my business.....
I had flashbacks of when I bought my first motorcycle.....
I don't know whether they are just lazy or they think a middle aged woman wouldn't be buying a new vehicle or what......new cars must be flying out of the showroom that they don't need a sale.
I'll be making my choice in the next week or two.

Motorcycle dealerships do the same thing. That's why the first bike I bought in 2005 was a Triumph, not a Honda or Yamaha. Newly licensed rider, stood there in the Honda/Yamaha showroom for 25 minutes, with 8 grand in my pocket, obviously very interested in bikes. Salesjerk was too fascinated with talking with his friends on the phone (obviously not a business conversation) and rearranging the ATV's outside to acknowledge me. Nice car! They have had them here in the UK and I've been seeing them on the road and in the Mitsubishi dealership (at the end of my road) for the past year and a bit.
