I am firmly under the belief that Canada has six weeks of melt, and the rest is winter.
Winter and construction was always what I was told. Lol
Although we’ve had extreme heat advisories all over the place lately. Always funny to hear people complain about the heat. I always say just give it 6 months and the temp will reverse itself.

My understanding of Canada has since been increased by Supertroopers 2, and I wish to move there!
Are you taking advantage to get some rubber down?

Got some work to do on the bike but I’m hoping to get out a bit on my vacation. Off for a few weeks.
Side note, went into a Harley dealership and sat on a fat bob. Very interesting bike. I like the look of it. Same with the street bob. Although I am looking forward to seeing what HD does with these new models I saw hints at. The street fighter and what not.

Went for a few rides on my days off. Actually went across the boarder as well, expanded metal suspension bridge was an interesting experience. Rode to brockville and back. Took the two boys for a couple rides for ice cream. My daughter wants to go but until she can touch the pegs I don’t see that happening. Also ran out of gas once as well. Lol. Nothing too serious as I was only a couple miles from home and my wife brought me a Jerry can in short order. Lol. Fun summer.

Well another new job in my file. Back working in Ontario in red lake. Much better schedule then the 21-10 I was on. The snow has started to fall so my little putt putt bike is asleep in the shed for the winter. Hope everyone has a great holiday season!

Well had a good run off back home. Been looking around for a slightly bigger bike since my son and step son enjoy riding with me and while the SR is alright for just me, having an extra 100 or so lbs on it just doesn’t make for fun riding and handling. So been parusing the used bikes on marketplace. Checked out a Suzuki 550 gs and went hard no on that. Too much work for what he wanted. So I’ll just keep looking. Keep saying I would like a new bike but don’t need a new bike.
Today went to the church youth groups family game night. Played some game like scrabble but no board and banana themed. And the card game spoons. Ever want to see violence. Play spoons. Lol. Take care and I’ll let you all know when the ice melts.

Should be picking up a bigger newer bike on my days off. With my son and step son enjoying rides with me the 250 is a bit over loaded, so been looking around for a deal here and there. Got an accepted offer in on a 1985 virago 1000. Kinda lots bigger but hey, why not. Lol. I’ll let you all know in a week or so when I go gets it.

Awesome! I've always been a fan of the Virago, almost bought one back before I bought my Vulcan. The guy didn't actually want to sell his bike, but his girlfriend insisted he did. So he kept upping the price until I finally told him nevermind.
Love to see the pics when you've got them ready!

Went and grabbed the virago today. I’ll delve into it tomorrow a bit. It’s still a bit chilly out and I have no work space down here.
