Recycling by Mcycling

What am I going to do with all this recycling?

I try to be somewhat environmental by recycling almost everything. The less that goes into the landfills the better.
My little entry way pantry was overflowing with recycling so I finally decided to tackle the growing mass of plastic containers and plastic bags.
I carried the two bags full of the recyclables and carried them to my bike. I secured the two big bags on the two racks with bungee cords and my cargo net and headed to the municipal recycling depot.

I’m sure it must have made for a funny sight with the two big plastic bags behind me….do you think that’s why the other riders didn’t wave to me last night?

When I arrived at the recycle yard, the gates were closed. The sign said NO DUMPING. :frusty:
I pulled a u-turn on my bike and parked facing the way I wanted to leave. I wanted to make sure I had a fast getaway in case I got caught leaving stuff after hours.

I untied the two big bags and stashed the cords and net in the little storage compartment.

I carried the bags over to the big chain link fence topped with 3 rows of barbed wire. I thought that was bit overkill for what was in there.
I stood back enough to get good momentum and tossed the first bag over the fence. Then I tossed the second bag over the fence. I reasoned if I got caught I could tell them I was not dumping…I was tossing……

I then headed to a local home, hardware and automotive store so that I could purchase a new toaster oven. My last one caught fire and I had to toss it out. I got the oven and a new sauté pan and carried them back out to my bike.
A man in the car next to my bike kind of raised his eyebrows when he saw me go to the bike. He couldn’t perceive that a woman could ride what he thought was a huge bike. I complimented his car with the custom batwing doors and then proceeded to secure the big box that had the oven in it. He then came over and helped me with the box. Once I got the box and the pan secured, we said good bye and I made my way home with my cargo.

Tonight I had some plants hanging off the back of the sissy bar on my way home from work.

If I keep this up, I will never achieve a look of “cool”.

Her frame was solid under my body.
Swaying gently side to side
Moving with me
Responding to my every nuance
I felt like we were dancing
Her sleek lines
Her smoothness
Her power
I caressed her with my thighs
My hands held her firmly yet gently persuading her to my will
She performed without complaint
To the summit and back
And still had more to give
At times I had to ask her to slow down
The edge was near
I didn’t want to go over
She was gentle in her response to me
Giving me what I needed
She was eager to please …fast or slow…
Aggressive or easy….She did it all
She took me places I have never been
And will take me there again.

I just came back from a terrific ride through the Cascades. I put on over a thousand km this weekend. My bike put on a stellar performance on those mountain roads. I will have some stories and pics soon.

Thats great! My bike just sputters and dies whenever I hop on. Takes me 20 minutes of revving the throttle just to get it to agree to the ride and then it just wants to get there as quick as it can and get back into the garage in time for Oprah.

For those that have followed from the beginning you will know what an amazing event this is. For those that have not read from the beginning, a brief explanation.
I was ready to give up riding and sell my bike due to so many awful people that I met during the learning phase of becoming a motorcyclist.

The bike had 7km on it the first time I ever sat on it.
Take a look at the picture. Aside from the few that the mechanics would have put on it when they test rode it for maintnenance and such, all the mileage is mine.

:biker: :clapping: :)

I stopped on the road tonight to take this picture when it turned over to 20,000km.

It was close. When I got home it was only a couple of km short and I was too tired to go ride around the block a few times, so I just left it until this evening on my way to supper at my friends' place.

That's so great Blues' keep piling those miles on, but don't you dare pass me ;)

Thanks again for everything while I was over there, and enjoy all those beautiful roads you have. Don't you dare take them for granted haha. All I see for miles is straight lines and sad faces.
