Hmmm, photoshop is a dangerous thing. Looks like I need to find myself the following:

1) A good powder coating
2) A good anodizer
3) Two Brothers slip on Exhaust in carbon fiber
4) Undertray eliminator
5) Intgrated signal lights
6) Ceramic coater for my downpipes

Freak of nature! You've been doing he exact same thing I've been doing - coloring my bike different colors.

I do vote for the black swing arm, its gives the bike a nice complete look. Also think about black peg sets. Mine are...well, where the paint hasn't been rubbed off. I need to repaint those this winter. I'm really thinking about black forks there at the bottom, and black tree and that bracket part there in the middle. I was even trying to figure a way to darken my engine, at least some accents....also paint up the exhaust pipes to a nice coat of black...

If you lived near me, I could get the powder coating and anodizing done for you, I'm good friends with those folks in the factory I work at!

Oh wait, you missed some dirt so you'd better take it apart again to wash it.

Do a better cleanup job this time.

Off the top of my head, this might work for your engine. But it'll chip pretty easily. Good to 1200F though.

What I'd like to do next winter is, haul my bike down to Calgary (friend lives there) and pull the bike apart in his garage. I'll be going through guys he knows there too:

1) Powder coat the fork sleeves, triple trees, swingarm brackets, swingarm, swingarm adjustment plates all black
2) Get the fork tubes anodized black
3) Ceramic coat the exhaust pipes black (more durable and it helps cool the pipes) I'm also considering black fiberglass heat wrap.
4) Cut down the footpeg hangers to remove the rear footpegs
5) Install undertray eliminator and integrated turn signals
6) Potentially get the footpeg hanger and headlight mount powdercoated yellow
7) Install K&N Air Filter, Two Bro's exhaust and rejet the bike with a dyno

Gonna have to start saving my pennies.

Gosh, that's a heckuva list - it'd be awesome when its done

Umm, on anodizing the forks, you'll have to remove the hard coating that's already on them - won't that be an extensive and challenging project?

Endo from class has been setting up an anodizing shop

Guess who one of my friends is? We'll figure something out next winter.

As for the rest of it, I got started on it today. Can you see the difference?

While the gunshow in my mirrors was VERY entertaining while riding, I always hated the look of the big dopey ears sticking off the front, and could never see anything behind me. With the new mirrors I can see almost twice as much stuff, including things directly behind me (failure on the old ones part) compared to the giant stockers. And they look spiffycool too. I'm very happy with them, and can't wait to road test...

That reminds me... I saw a 90s teal version of your bike... It was really cool, and now I can definitely see how much you like it...
