I went to the annual Festive Lights Display and did some night photography.

The VanDusen Gardens here does this every year. It was a cold clear night...perfect for taking photos, but after almost three hours, we were all feeling the cold, so went to a warm restaurant for a bite to eat.
We plan to go again.

Here is one of my images from the lights display. Slow shutter speed and using the zoom.

Yes, I used the Nikon with a 24 to 85 lens on it. Thanks.

Thanks to Patrick, too.

We are getting ready for a small ride today. It should hit lower 50's so we should be good to go soon. Hope you all had a Happy Holiday Season and be safe on New Year's Eve.

My CHRISTMAS went fine...

With that said, I never got my tree up, I have recently moved and my Christmas tree lights were still buried in a box somewhere. So I went to a local store looking for new ones but all they had was "Holiday Tree Lights" so I told the salesman that until they brought in some "Christmas Tree Lights" I would pass on making a purchase there...
