People in the parts dept were openly putting down everything but their golden child BUSA. customers where the same way. I guess I expected a little different atmosphere in there since they are also a Triumph dealer.
Our local dealer carries Kawasaki/Suzuki/Triumph/KTM and they had their annual open house last weekend. They brought in a dyno on a trailer and offered inexpensive dyno runs. Well, don't you know, that brought the 'Busa riders out like flies on cow plop!! They be bad, y'know.
A stock 'Busa ain't the prettiest bike in the world, and when these guys get done ugly-ficating 'em......

That sounds like a strange task, indeed!!!
Today I agreed to purchase a bike for (me) my husband to ride (with me).

Picking it up tomorrow evening!

Brought this home, and our youngest son had to sit on it in the driveway ... in his socks.
My husband's 2005 Yamaha V-Star 650 Classic. Unbeknownst to him, this is actually a Father's Day gift from our other son, who will be home on leave soon.

Day three of sitting home bored out of my mind fighting the tailend of a head cold. Been off work two days already and today is my flex day. I was planning on going away for the weekend but instead I am laying here with a low grade headach, stuffy nose and dosed with cough syrup. No riding for me this weekend.

Got my RD parts ordered. Worked on my papa's pond with him. Went to the Dr. for a seriously jacked up neck.Took Harley to spend the night with my brother and now I'm feeling a little better now that the pills are kicking in.

WICKED!!!

Enjoy your weekend!
I went for a run - I am in training for an athletic event in early July and am stepping up my exercise program. Was hoping to do a 10K but stopped at 5K as I just wasn't in the groove. Will try again tomorrow!

You're very correct, some of the best riding in the country is right there in southeast BC...
Take a dip in the hotsprings to relax later...
