Congrats on the job wrider I am hoping to have my recent mess settled and be back to work this winter....... Today I got maggie tagged and drove her for about 300 miles. I am quite pleased with her only thing is the stock seat im using, till i get money for a new one, is killing my backside. The old girl has a good bit of power and seems to handle and ride pretty nice. I got about 50 mpg outta her today. There is nothing sounds like a V4.......

I've been working again all today inputting MPG data on motorcycles. So far we are up to over 4,000 new bikes to be entered into the Total Motorcycle Fuel Economy Guide.

I just haven't had time over the years to keep updating it like I would like to, now I have 5 years of emails, posts and data to enter... ARGH

No question this new version 3.0 of the guide will be the biggest ever, anywhere, in the world.

Kicking back today... just got back from a mini trip through the southern Okanagan Valley (Osoyoos) and along the Fraser river. I didnt even bring a map, just looked for fun names along the way, like Ollala "Hey, I'll go there -- Oh-Laaa-laaaaaaa". I will have to tuck the pocket camera into my jacket next time, although I didnt hike too much since all I had were the alipinestars for riding and sandals for relaxing.

Funny how many things i didnt bring with me. Just a sleeping bag, tent, and a few clothes. Sort of did it on a whim since I was visiting friends for a birthday party with some great musicians, kids, familes, etc and the gang throwing me a set of bongos to get into the mix. After that night under the stars in Summerland I just extended the trip out for a little longer

ahhhh... summer fun.

Met up with daughter ¤2 today. Hadn't seen her for 5 months as she had been away on post uni travels (SE Asia, 0z,NZ ).

So so good to see her & have a hug!!
