They are out there, its just there seems to be more of an attitude stateside that Motorbikes are a hobby than a valid form of transport, so Bikes promoted stateside don't need to be pratical.

Above we see a happy Ehtiopian family on a Honda CG125 - probably a j with the modification of crash/bush bars to the bike frame
My Honda CG125 - admitedly a motorbike not a Scooter had racked up 50,000 miles+ before being stolen and the engine was still going strong...
You just cannot kill them. After the first theft attempt on CeeGee I had to replace the wiring loom. A brand new item ordered from Honda cost me £90 roughly $160
My partner Jules has an 80's CX500 custom converted into a trike which will carry us, the trike subframe and kit in the backbox without issue.
I'll post pictures at some point.
Divide and overflow ran a 250 with no problems - I can't remember who it is distributed by stateside, over here it is Hyosung.
