In the UK we have a tiered system for motorcycle access/riding entitlement; the DAS is the Direct Access route where, once passing the test, the rider is legally entitled/qualified to ride any size motorbike - as opposed to being restricted to 33bhp for a two-year period.

Congrats, if I recall correctly, that's not easy to do.
Glad to hear you'll get to make full us of your bike. Hehe, you gotta get some action shots now

I'm getting a lot more confident cornering now for sure! I'm enjoying nailing corners I regularly ride, noticing the difference every time. I had an experienced pal take me on the back of my bike which - while I don't throw her around like that yet - was extremely valuable in showing me just what she is capable of, and has given me a huge amount of confidence in the bike's abilities!
Also riding through town traffic is a joy although I fear I may become rather a car terroriser

Good, someone should scare them once in while instead of the other way around.

Congratulations on your Direct Access!
The VFR looks pretty wicked.

Exactly. I wear camo that blends into the ditch foliage around here so I can jump off and hide if someone I know sees my purple beast.

I've seen him do it at speed!
Dam, you did see me that time, huh?........ gotta work on my bail-outs, I guess.
Or did you just notice the riderless bike whippin' down the road?
