You bet. I rode a small bike for more than a year. My gear change is slick because it had to be and there is an unholy ammount of amusement of leaving traffic behind at the lights and cruising at 40mph before they are off the line.

Esopecially when hitting 40 requires at least 2 gear changes...

Something you don't need to worry about on the road.

my bike will do 80mph in 1st gear. i haven't done it for a long time now though. i shift to 2nd around 40-45mph.

you can do either but it's better do use throttle at the same time.

of course... im saying it is better when you already got the hang of your bike's FZ.

so for training purposes... leave the throttle out of the equation for the meantime.

what ninja 600? the ZX-6RR or one of those old ones?

either way... even the old ones are powerful bikes... more reason to for you to be good at clutch and throttle control.

To basic clutch control? No, it dosnt but its probably easier to wheelie than my CX500.

yeah it's the old school look. much like the ninja 250 and 500 which still showcases that design.

and glad to see you bought some gear.

get some boots next... i heard and saw many horror stories of people getting surgery from dropping their bike on their foot. plus, those laces can get caught and it'll be really ugly.

then once you get a boot... start looking at riding pants.

Yeah, my bro rides to.. hes 32 and everytime he see's me hes gotta flame me for my shoes, but i told him.. good luck with your laces getting caught.

yea i feel naked without riding with riding gear on, hmm boots.. i hope there not TOO expensive. I'm kind of drained out of money from all this.

Slightly smaller version of your pics...

Theres a site around here somewhere called newneough or newtoyou - something like that. Anyhow worth checking it out as good riding gear can make a lot of difference about the kinds of injuries you receive should the worst happen.
