its just crazy when most people want more for their used bike than what they paid new, and new bikes the same model are less, example: brand new 07 Yamaha V Star 1100 are selling new for $5995, Suzuki M and C50's are $5495, Honda VTX 1300's are $6995 and I was told by the Kawasaki Dealer the new Concour 1400 is going to sell for $8995, so im planning on buying the new Concours as soon as it comes out then selling it for $12K and make a fast $3K investment, huh?

Is there a time of year when dealers prices on new (2007 Yamaha V Star Classic 650) bikes are lower than at other times of the year ---- when they will include more "incentives" (a windshield, saddle bags, etc.) in the price in order to move their stock along?

I'd like to buy the bike right now but I'm wondering if it would be worth while to wait until another time of the year.

FEBRUARY/MARCH! New bikes are about to come out and the dealers have leftovers and are tired of paying the insurance to keep them.
