No Shiv. I don't live in Gruene, but I spend a lot of time in the Hill Country. I've only been riding for 4 months, but I've found some roads around New Braunfels and Kerville that are awesome. I never noticed how awsome those roads were when I drove them in a cage. Go figure. Do you mean the Grist Mill? I eat there every chance I get. I'd tell you how long I've been eating there, but that would give away my age.

Shorts, what's a Texas boy doing in Japan? You get back over here, let me know, and we'll take a ride up that way. I'd rather tube down the river with a cooler full of Shiner Bock than go to Schlitterban. Way too many people. We usually put in just below the Canyon Dam, and that water is as cold as death in August. The top cooks and the bottom freezes. Sure, I'll take you to Gruene Hall - If you let me lead. Or, we could probably find a couple of those friendly Texas ladies who would let us step on their toes. :pbjt:

It's a long way Blues. It's 2500 miles from Seattle to Houston. I'd have to trailer the bike up there, and I ride a cruiser. Of course, you have more experience than me so you could probably do it. There's some awesome country between here and there. I do plan on taking a trip this Spring, probably to Colorado. I was up there in Sept., around Colorado Springs, and I had the bike itch then. I was looking at every road I drove, thinking how it would be on a bike. I can't wait to ride some of them the right way.

On an unrelated note, it's been cold and rainy here for two weeks. I know that's nothing to you cold climate riders, but here it's torture. All my biker buddies are ready to ....... :shooting2:

OK. Some day I'll learn not to assume. But it obviously wasn't today. I'm new around here and don't know everybody yet. Just quit reading after the part about me leading.

Just found the "Mug Shots" thread. I'll be back after I've finished feeling stupid. In about a year.

Sorry Shorts, didn't really intend to give you a gender change. :oops!:

It was a long time before anyone caught on I was a woman. Of course I didn't bother to let them know for a while.

Let's see, 2500 miles....that's doable in under a week.

Might be time to lay off the coffee for awhile, Blues. Your 'submit' finger is twitchin'.

Sorry about that.

I will refer you to the internet thread I started in the soap box. This was one of those times when the submit button wouldn't submit, so I kept clicking it until it finally submitted.

I really need to figure out what the problem is. But I will do it in a few days. I don't have the time now.

Maybe I need some of BuzZz's medication to calm the twitchy finger.

You kids are funny. As for dancing with other ladies, that all depends on what kind of music is on the speaker or stage and how much we've both hand to drink :woot:

Simpson's Episode

Bart: I want to be emancipated

Homer: But I thought you liked being a dude?

No problem Philo :D
