My first bike was a 1999 Honda Shadow VLX 600. Sold it in 2002 when my son was born. Just this month I got back into riding and got a 2007 Honda Shadow Spirit 750. I really love this bike. It has great power and handles great. I will be using this bike to drive to work as I am in TN and it is riding weather almost 10 months a year.

Right now I have an '81 CB750C, I've recently owned a GL500 and a VT500C but they are gone now.
Very clean, all stock and for sale soon.

I just bought my first bike (at the ripe young age of 45)...it is a 1982 CM450A.
My very first ride was owned by my older brother when we were in high school (1980)...it was a Honda 90 (don't know much more about it than that).
My blue dream arrives tomorrow....I'll get pic's up as soon as I can.

Rode hard put away wet huh John?
Is that an early 80s CB750K Custom? Do you still have it?
EDIT: Never mind, scanning the thread, I see the bike you identified as a 1981 CB750C.

My family....'95 VLX, '01 ACE, '02 VTX 1800.
I started riding just last year on a Rebel, moved up to the VLX a few months later, and just found the ACE a few weeks ago. The VTX is my husband's pride and joy.

Well, I thought that I would check back in. I have had my bike for a month now, have 350 miles under my belt, and I am LOVIN" my Honda!!
I have learned two valuable things:
1. You can't get the itch out of wanting to ride once you have tasted it, and
2. You can't just own one Honda!
I LOVE my CM...will keep her going until parts can't be found. BUT, I find myself wanting to buy maybe an '83 CB450, or a newer Rebel, or.....just to have ANOTHER bike winking at me in my garage (my 2006 Nissan Frontier is NOT a happy camper at the moment...).
[big sigh]
WHY didn'y ANYONE warn me that cycling was so ADDICITIVE!! It is as bad as having horses......and I have TWO of those.....I'll be horse/cycle rich and money poor if I don't get a grip on this!! <grin>
