His wheelie at 80mph on a public road is not even in the same ballpark. Heck, it isn't even the same sport.

And who's going to police my opinion of anything? I don't have the right to judge him? Sure I do. He's an idiot. There ya go. Whether my formed opinion of his act or the rider himself carry any weight, is independent from the outcome.

Like many other posts, it's his lack of respect for other's safety that gets my undies in a bunch. Take it off public course. Had he done that, I'd return the respect.

I'm not sure what you mean exactly. But there are limits on what can be said and the soap box forum is the most liberal for opinions.

When he died he was alive. He wasn't sleeping, he didn't get cancer from a computer screen. There's something to be said for that. Bad choice maybe, bad way to go too I suppose but it's already done and there's no sense in accusing him of idiocy and other such now.

Even nice people do really stupid, irresponsible things sometimes.

With that said... If you die doing something incredibly stupid, you are licensing the living to mock you.

That's just the way it goes.

Everyone deserves death, which is why we all die. I thought of a whole bunch of things I could have said criticizing what he did but I have no right to judge what he did because I have done a whole host of incredibly foolish things myself. I deserved to die many, many times for some of the stunts I pulled driving my hot rod and my truck which is why I consider myself utterly blessed that I am still alive today. Lesson learned.

But did you do those things on a public road or did you do those things on enclosed areas designed for that type of thing?
