Do you ever give your camera to someone to take your photo?

That would mean I stop where people are parked... Oh, you mean anywhere, DOH! I guess I'll have to break out the mini tripod huh?

Well....at least in front of a "Welcome to where you've never been before" sign.

As I said in a text message earlier today...
HOLY CRAPOLA!!!
I awoke today with frost on my bike,

so I loaded it up and went for a long breakfast hoping it would warm up a bit. Well it must have because it started raining before I left, (it could have been snow...) Rain on and off before lunch, then just a freezing cold overcast day the rest of the way.
Lots of truck traffic and the cold slowed me down, and I didn't get anywhere near Sudbury like I wanted to, but maybe that was a good thing as they had freezing rain this morning, (and snow forecast for tonight...)
Would someone look at a calendar and let me know if I left home in May or Feb...
So with that said:
Driving distance: 489.3 kilometers
I only made it to Sault Ste Marie, not a productive day, I have to get quite a bit further tomorrow...
I know I probably won't get the whole distance done, but I have to try and make Ottawa or as close as possible to try and catch up to my goals...

Posting all these little maps has left me thinking I'm making little or no progress on this trip. So, I thought that I'd post a current "total" trip map, and keep it up todate on a daily basis. So you don't have to go hunt it down, I will keep it in my signature for now...
Crappppppp!!! I have travelled just a few kms this trip...

I have only a one-word answer for that:
CANADA

Are you stuck in a snow banK? That's about the only excuse we will accept for not checking in.

Really quick before I go for a bite to eat, I'm just less than an hour out of Ottawa. I'll breeze through there tomorrow. I'll update my maps soon...

Okay, today is about the shortest day of all, I made the outskirts of Ottawa and I'm calling it a day. I've been feeling a bit under the weather and after yesterday a bit exhausted. So a short day was called for.
Yesterday I rode from Sault Ste Marie to Arnprior, (less than an hour out of Ottawa.) Today, I'm in Kanata, just off
Terry Fox Dr. I can't believe how many times I've seen
that name since entering Ontario, it seems they've taken ownership of that
BC boy...
The map below covers both days as I thought it would be dumb to post a map for a whole 40k... lol
Driving distance: 716.3 kms yesterday, 46 kms today.
(Doesn't include time driving through Renfrew, looking for an open gas station... I think I went on reserve just after every gas station on the hwy closed.)
