As Kal mentioned, at the moment we're trying to prove they're ineffective against bikes, but heres the reasoning if you're curious
Laser requires that its aimed at a flat spot to attain an accurate reading... show me the flat spot on a bike, its all curved, which buggers up any chance of an accurate reading
Radar has difficulty achieving an accurate lock on a bike, due to the sheer lack of metal, in comparison to a car.

what are Gatsos? Never thought of UK as crowded but never been there. Got kin there, in Ireland and on Jersey. Speed cameras are illegal here in Colorado, but not the stoplite cameras.

My vehicles' Indicated vs GPS:
Suzuki Jinmy (car) - 60mph speedo = 56 mph GPS
Suzuki RV125 - 50mph indicated = 47mph GPS
BMW F650GS - 60mph Indicated = 57mph GPS
