Okay.... I've been converted....
I'm sold. I can't stand to ride now without the balls of my feet on the pegs.
Didn't like it at first but it's pretty comfy like that. Only problem is my boot tread grabbing the peg when I need to shift in a hurry.
Other than that I love it!

Re: Scraping the front of my boot when I lean
I'm sorry and I don't mean to be disrespectfull in any way, but this is the dumbest question I've seen posted here.Brackstone wrote:So lately I've been much more comfortable with my bike and I've been leaning into turns more and more. A couple of times I've leaned in pretty deep and I scrape the front of my boot on the ground really quick then I pop back up (cause I freakout.
Am I riding incorrectly? I know I tilt my feet outwards a bit. Also I always cover the rear brake and my foot is always under the shifter.
Any Advice is welcomed!

Huh? What's dumb about it?I'm sorry and I don't mean to be disrespectfull in any way, but this is the dumbest question I've seen posted here.
And, ah, at the risk of firing up the ol' Bubba again, as soon as you use an adjective like dumb, you are being disrespectful.

I was riding my bike the other day and a bug hit me right between the eyes. Is there anything I can do about this?MZ33 wrote:Huh? What's dumb about it?I'm sorry and I don't mean to be disrespectfull in any way, but this is the dumbest question I've seen posted here.

Now didn't that sound 'dumb'?

Yes there are a few choice words I have for you because you feel you are the perfect person, and I'm sure you know what they are, so there is no need to voice them here.

Hey bubbasbro...
Chill man... This forum is here for them to ask advice. For example, on a sportbike, you're supposed to scrape knee first, right? If not that then the feeler bolt on the underside of the peg right? If he's scraping his feet it may make him a little skittish in the hard corners, so he's asking if he should change his riding habit/style. That's all. For example I scraped frame on my old Volusia. Talked to a few more experienced friends, they taught me how to lean into the corner more so I had better clearances while cornering.

actually your the one that sounds dumb by picking on questions that are not dumb. Yes there things you can do about both and not everyone has common sense enough to figure out what to do on their own (not saying anyone in this thread doesnt have common sense just trying to make a point is all).Bubbas_brother wrote:I was riding my bike the other day and a bug hit me right between the eyes. I'm sorry and I don't meant to be disrespectful in any way, but you are the biggest "O Ring" that posts here.Bubbas_brother wrote:I'm sorry and I don't mean to be disrespectfull in any way, but this is the dumbest question I've seen posted here.Brackstone wrote:So lately I've been much more comfortable with my bike and I've been leaning into turns more and more. If you don't like a question? Don't answer it, it's that easy. Nobody is forcing you to read these forums OR reply.
Hell you practically brought this up from the dead what are you some kind of troll necromancer? This thread was posted, answered, advice given, and done.

You've no idea what I feel, Bubba. You've never asked me, and you certainly don't know me. And for someone who is so quick to insult and to criticize, you don't seem to take either one very well yourself. "Old fart" is apparently not equivalent to "mature wisdom." Pity, because sometimes your straightforward replies are helpful--at least, I have found it so. On occasion.because you feel you are the perfect person
I think what might be dumb would be to have the question, wonder & worry about it, and not ask it. Which is what is more likely to happen if someone labeled questions as "dumb."
And, back to the off-topic point: you lied when you said you didn't "mean to be disrespectful" as soon as you used the word "dumb." And apparently, the old dog learned no new tricks, despite his multiple name changes, because since my comment, you have been nothing but rude. Again.
What makes you come back to post, anyway?
