Talked to Terry Howard (ABATE of Colorado) and found out the following.
As of 01July2008 Colorado will offer a three wheel motorcycle endorsement. This is for trike or sidecar only. This is for those who physically cannot ride two wheels. You can still ride/drive a trike/hack with a regular motorcycle endorsement.
Also soon ABATE of Colorado will offer trike and sidecar classes. These will be based on Washington States Evergreen Safety program. Dates are not yet set as instructors still need to be trained in Washington. They hope to offer these classes later this Summer.

WARNING Cripple Creek area.
Teller County 1 between Cripple Creek City limits and High Park. (High Park to Florrasant is a little better) This road has some really bad pot holes (one is about 5 feet in diameter and about 10 inches deep) Add to this several corners with gravel on them and a high population of deer and gamblers plus much of road striping is worn off. BE EXTRA CAREFUL IN THE DARK
