Vegetarian Bikers? I know you are out there!

I'm an ex-vegan, my parents raised me to be a complete vegan. My Mom didn't eat any animal products from the moment she knew I was conceived and I was the same way for 18 years but I started eating meat and dairy relatively recently, with great results. I know you're probably going to say that vegetarianism is healthier, but I'm stronger and get sick much less than when I didn't eat meat.

I'm still a boyish-looking skinny guy with a high metabolism from years of no meat though

Naw it's Biomedical Sciences which is basically Animal Science and the human side of things all rolled up into one. It's a degree plan made to allow you to enter into any medical field (or practically any) of your choice as long as you get accepted into graduate school.

plus, "inhumane"....? they are not human! maybe if you want to say "inbovine" or something.....

You should check out a dictionary sometime. To treat an animal humanely simply means to treat it with compassion. It does not mean to treat it like it is equal to a human.

anyways, I tolerate but lightly mock those who give the "nothing with a face" explaination (sorry loonette, but hey, you get to mock me for my high chloresterol!) as being whiney over sensitive people.

...and...since you had to drag me into this. I have tolerated many, many others in my life with their insensitivities with respect to just about any issue you can imagine. Still, I don't find the need to mock. Is that what I did in this thread? No. I just spoke for myself. I don't care why other people do or don't eat meat. It's a personal choice - much like the choice to consciously mock and berate others as you have done. And what's wrong with people being more sensitive? Having more reverence for God's creatures? Do you think original meat eaters were chewing their stew with a vengeance toward the animal? NO - they were grateful to their creator for also creating a source of food for their survival. It's a shame how "modern" man thinks these days.

At this point in my life I care more about what is going to eat the least amount of my money than where it came from. So I have leather gloves and part leather jacket.

However I do like to make fun of vegetarians because one of my friends is vegetarian. Which is good, because if she wasn't, we'd have to find something else to bother about. For the record though... I was just eating my murdered animal burger in peace... she started it! Plant killer!
