As promised...
The Golden Spike National Historic Site. This is where the 'golden spike' was driven to connect the two halves of the first transcontinental railroad. It's about an hours ride from my house, we headed out there today, made a loop through the back country, then stopped in at a little bar called Mim's in the settlement of Corrine and shot some pool for a couple hours. Great trip.
Bonus, you all get to see my wife and I for the first time!!

Oh yeah, I know she's hott.
WOOT!! Okay, the next challenge, your bike with an aircraft in the frame. Fixed wing or rotary, operational or a decom'ed display, even up in the sky if you wanna manage that angle. Anything goes, so long as it's an actual passenger aircraft of some sort, not an RC model or whatever.

If finally stopped raining enough to go ride and take the camera.
We also live in an area where there are 4 airports within an hour.

It's raining here...to the point of flood watches...and my bike is out of commission again...July 3rd is the soonest I could get the bearings installed properly (oops...I didn't properly seat the wheel bearings...) and since I have the bike appart, I am getting a new steering stem bearing installed (it was a little loose from the accident last year...) and I am replacing the oil seals in the other fork...then it should be right as rain...then we'll see if I sell it and get a FJR or not...I'll be playing again next week though!
Later.

If you were to go to Vulcan Alberta, you could get a picture of your bike with the Starship Enterprise. What quirky themed statues/monuments are in your neck of the woods? Who cares, get out there and get that picture...

Cripes. I rode around my town this evening looking for something....the only place that had something interesting was covered with police. I didn't think they'd like it if I stopped. I don't know what was going on...unless they were there to look after the Canada Day preparations.
I'll have to cross the bridge to go find something. Possibly tomorrow after work.

We are looking for my/your bike with a quirky themed statues/monuments? Or with that starship,
(it's not the Enterprise, that number would be NCC-1701-A).
