What?? no Taco Bell or Taco Time in England? How can you stay there? Do they have Tim Horton's?
I just don't know how you could survive...hehehe
Thanks for all the birthday wishes from everyone...
Yesterday I realized that I need some specialty tools to remove the front and rear tires on my MT-01...front you need about a 15mm Allen Key...and the rear is about a 40 or 45mm wrench to remove the axle nut...off to Yamaha I go...

Re: What did you do today...
Today I rode Maggie 125 miles installed my new national cycle PLEXISTAR 2 fairing. on the interstates I have been taking a beating with no shield at all. The ride back was nice didnt even have the buffeting that I used to on my shadow do to the low shield I put on it. Even though it was dark half the way back I was comfortable in my mesh jacket without stopping for the liner for once. This is bigger than what I wanted for the magna. This is what I wanted for the nighthawk for touring but it wont fit that well. I got such a great deal on it $75 new that I couldn't pass it up. I think it will be a nice addition for the coming cold:)
1984 Honda Magna 700, 1987 CBR1000F, 1991 Nighthawk 750, 1994 FZR600, and for the dirt 1995 KTM 300 EXC and finally a 1986 KX500

I don't think there is a tool kit...even if there is, the quality of those kits isn't meant for regular maintenance anyway...they are emergency kits...dr_bar wrote:Aren't they in the tool kit???

$30 got me the tools (and only because one of them was only available in a set), and I bought a torque wrench so $75 for the tools and I'm good to go...

I've figured out how to remove the tires and jack up the bike without too much risk...so I should be able to get it all done tomorrow (got too late tonight by the time I got all the other cr@p done that I needed to!!)...so I know what I am doing tomorrow, along with oil changes on the bike and truck...maintenance day, then Sunday is for riding...WOO HOO
Later.

Re: What did you do today...
I went shopping. I bought a digital time for my outside lights, a box of Smarties, a new laptop computer, a case for the laptop, then met a couple of friends for Japanese food, then went to a movie and then for tea.
Phew....
Phew....

Re: What did you do today...
Installed and balanced new front & rear tires on my bike...Michelin Pilot Road 2...it's like I have a new bike...it just falls into turns now...the old flat spotted tires were terrible for turning...a 190 section 50 series tire is a pain in the "parts" to change...breaking the bead, removing the old & installing the new...lots of sweat and swearing...but my helper didn't seem to mind...even though I think she heard some stuff she really didn't need to...

Oil changes will have to be done on Monday...went test driving for a new family vehicle...took up too much of the day...

Re: What did you do today...
Well done! Changing street bike tires without a machine isn't the most fun. But at least it wasn't sand paddles! That sucks!
I worked.
Our temps dropped like a freaking rock this weekend. The last week the nights have dropped to MAYBE 65 degrees, but tonight it is currently 55 degrees. To put that into perspective, our daily highs have been in the upper 80s to mid 90s, and haven't been below 80 since early June.
