I went with blues and her friend, on the 33rd annual Vancouver Toy Run, yesterday. Great time, lots of bikes and a two I wouldn't mind having in my own stable...

I pulled the old lino flooring off the bathroom floor. Renovating a bathroom is sure a messy job. The floor layers are coming in tomorrow with the new linoleum.

renovating any room that contains lathe and plaster (horse hair for that matter) is messy. Pulling up linoleum not so much.

Oh the job was more than the floor. Lots of drywall, mudding, sanding....I also scraped off the texture from the ceiling so that the ceiling will be smooth. Old toilet got removed. Undercoating is done now. New lights in a new place....And the lino got laid today.

Just had to celebrate the beautiful day with
a 40 mile round the block ride.
Then spent a couple of hours at parents house.

Had a lazy morning, then after lunch took my Mom shopping. Came home, cooked dinner and watched The Ghost Writer.

Had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with friends. Just like the dinner I had last Monday, good company and great food made for a enjoyable evening...
Finished the night, (and the wine) watching TV then off to bed...
