I'm pretty sure I officially qualify for insane now...
It's snowing out, and 60 miles north of me, people are reporting 14-18 inches.
Instead of looking for a cheap car on Craigslist, I'm on motorcycle-superstore looking at dual-sport tires that will fit a Z750, and on another couple of websites researching motorcycle tire studs...
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it!

Hi Wrider
I thought I'd seen you wandering round the corridors of the asylum for several years now.
Keep taking the treatment!

I got up early and went to Seymour Mountain. I did a 5 km hike in the snow to Dog Mountain. The views were spectacular.

I went to a funeral this morning. Dan was 44. He died of cancer. Far too young. He was an exceptional man. I don't think I have ever met anyone who had less ego than he did. I met him on the train going for chemo in London a few days before he died. All he wanted to know was my news. He was looking very fragile by then, but his eyes were just as bright and his smile as warm and genuine as ever. There were about 140 people at his funeral, which I think says everything. There are far too few people like Dan in the world. Now there is one less.

I've met a few like Dan. I send my condolences... Those are the kind of people who truly make an impression on you and you never forget, no matter how briefly you knew them.
