I thought you got along with him???

Sorry to hear about that though. My vote? Put it in a big pile in the yard and burn it. Tends to work pretty well to get rid of odors.

I did get on with him, at first. Over time, though, people show their true colours. Actually, I think he is becoming depressed and probably has a hard time ahead of him - he's very buttoned up and doesn't know how to reach out to people. He thinks he's tough but actually, he's very vulnerable and, at 24, is still very boyish. (His problem is, he can't acknowledge it.) That's why I soft-pedalled with him. After a while though, it became clear he was taking the "pee" and had to be dealt with. There's a limit to my sympathy. It was hard though because initially I rented him the room as a favour to his mum.

Yep, One large bonfire coming up!

It must have taken a lot to upset you as you don't seem to be the type to get easily frustrated! Good luck with the clean up and hopefully your life can go back to normal very soon.

YES YES YES :D

After a misty start it turned into a beautiful afternoon here in sunny Dorset, so managed to get out on first ride of the year. I sent my fella off on his own before me as I just wanted to pootle about a bit on my own first. So he went off on a Rocket blast  & I pottered down to a local beauty spot at Mudeford Quay.

There were quite a few bikes out & about to nod to (we nod rather than wave over here) but only a few at the quay. I had a nice chat with a couple of guys then after my fella arrived we went & had fresh prawns with chips.
This particular snack has become an established favourite of ours so was fun to have the first taste of that too.

After we rode round to some friends who kindly invited us to an impromptu supper party. After taking the bikes home we returned for a pleasant evening & sat round a fire in the garden so......................

yes........1st ride

yes...................1st prawns & chips

yes ....................1st evening by the fire

Tomorrow I am meeting up with my girls for lunch so if the weather holds will have a longer ride on my own.

Turning into a great weekend :D

Have had a great day out. :ad lunch with my girls then came home via Poole Quay. Had a few pleasant chats & was able to tell a newcomer about various local bike haunts.

HMS Cattistock was berthed at the quay but unfortunately I was too late to go onboard & didn't want to argue the point with the young sailor & his big gun

The sun was a bit low but thought it might make a cool pic with my bike in foreground :D

Running out of day light or I would start on the bike today...the pictures are from last weekend when I did the left rear door, I finished up the right rear today (just in case someone notices the dates on the pics  )

Luvvverly. I love that whole coastline -anything westwards from Hengistbury head will do me very well for a long weekend holiday. If you know some good bikemeets or hangouts down there, Mogster, I'm all ears.

Cheers
