I drank soda once. :frusty: It was a sprite.

But apperently I do have an overtendancy to hug people, even whome I don't know all that well.
If you were looking for something like cracking knuckles or bad temper, sorry I can't think of anything. I'm a bit layd bak ya know?

I use to think the same thing. I'm christian....first catholic...{gasp!}...then baptist {bigger gasp}

Anyway, "do that to themselves" is relative I guess. In excess all time = "I'm never drinking again", which is a lie, and everyone knows it.

Drinking doesn't automatically equal drunk. There are levels of drinking. There are various attitudes when drinking.

...let's have a drink

...let's get wasted

...glass of wine with dinner?

...a toast

...I could use another

...I don't want another

...only one and hour

...I'm driving tonight, no thanks

Being Mormon, (LDS), I would like to stick to my standards I have set. I thank my parents for taking me in, as I dread the thought of where I would be now hadn’t they done so. I love them. I just can’t see my self doing any of those, umm… extracurricular activities.

-Shove that aside-

Heh, I know people who drink aren’t going to go out and get themselves wasted. Just consuming alcohol in general, in any amount is not something I think anyone should do. But I guess people enjoy it. I don’t associate any level of degradation with a person who decides to drink either, as in, I don’t think they are a bad person. Id just rather NOT pick up the habit, and be a comsumer for life personally. We should all be friends, whether we drink or not! No big deal. I’m really not trying to offend anybody. Sorry if I did.

damn, all this time i thought you were older than I am... Hell at one point I thought almost everyone here was older than I was.

Good to know I'm not the only one who prefers soda/juice to alcoholic beverages.

Being that I'm training to become a forensic scientist/ CSI or any law enforcement it is said that whiskey can be your best friend.
One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back.

I can show you some heavy drinking mormons

The second part is more like it: "I would like to stick to my standards I have set."

In my case, I have no standards whatsoever.

Nothing wrong with have personal standards and sticking by them. Projecting those standards upon others, well.....

Step it up? To what? The ultimate Mormon standard? Thanx but one wife, related to me by marriage alone, is plenty for me.

Sorry not trying to jump on you or anything, I know your just joking around, but this type of religious superiority(shared by all religions to some extent) just confirms to me that religion is the work of the Devil. God would not have anything to do with something so evil. And that's not to say that people can't dig up enough evil on their own. We are pretty good at that. Who else could dream up murder, rape, pillage, exclusion and bigotry and call it 'God's Work' but our own warped brain matter?
No Witnesses.... :shifty:
