Pic's of bike

Went for a ride with the campsite owners daughter today, she just bought her first bike the other day and we went looking for a better riding jacket than the one she had. Nice and clean looking 2004 GFS 600S in blue. From Osoyoos, we hit Penticton for two different shops then sushi for lunch. After that, we headed up the highway to Westbank, spent an hour or so in a shop there and ended up staying 'till close. Back down to Penticton and then on to Osoyoos via a great back road. We totally bypassed Oliver on the way back, great 8 hour day, ended of course with an ice cream cone, what ride's complete without one )

I went to a meeting of a long established riding club to see what they were like and then went on an evening ride with them.

I had high expectations...I went home disappointed. I left the ride and went home when they made their illegal left turn. It was clearly marked with not just one sign...but two no left turn signs.

Sigh.....

Which is just the attitude she deplores. Also why she stopped riding with them. Motorcyclists get enough bad rep, they don't need to add to it by ignoring the law...

I was doing 85-90 for long stretches yesterday on the 75 MPH interstate. Wasn't worried in the least about cops, even though I was flying by other traffic. Mostly because I was following a marked cop car, but between us was an unmarked state trooper, neither of which had their lights or sirens on.

This square has never gone down on a bike, have you? This square has never been clumsy enough to have his bike stolen, have you? This square has only one scar from a bike, hot exhaust pipe when I stepped in front of someone else about to get the burn of their life. I don't mind being "SQUARE" under those circumstances...

Seriously though... i haven't sped on my bike in a long time. Im pretty mellow now... usually.

Im glad i was able to feel 163mph and got over it w/o getting in trouble.
