Washed the truck, attempted to claybar the truck, gave up on said claybar action, bought ammo to go shooting tomorrow with a friend.

Oh, I have something funny to share from yesterday.
The MSF instructor says to the class "Where do you go for the best source of motorcycle information" and I piped up saying "Total Motorcycle.com of course, North America's leading motorcycle information website!" well, we all had a good chuckle about that but he said the answer the MOM (motorcycle owners manual)...haha (But I think TMW has more information than what's found in that personally!)...

totalmotorcycle wrote:2nd day (of 3) of my Basic Motorcycle training course! Did the written course test at the end of the day and I'm happy to report both Andrea and I got 100/100. (50 questions @ 2 points each).
Also rode the Suzuki Eliminator's around the parking lot and got used to them (more on that later), tomorrow, the other 1/2 of the training then the test. Flying through so far all the test, but having a little difficulty doing the 18' double U-Turn (I shouldn't be having an issue, but I am putting my foot down at full handlebar lock occasionally), tomorrow I'm going to try using a little rear brake and some more clutch/throttle/rpm action.
Mike
Suzuki makes Eliminators now?

Update: Great news! Passed my motorcycle practicle tests! I even did the double 18' U-Turn test without going out of the lines or putting a foot down (trust me, it's not easy to get it right). Also everyone passed. I would have had a perfect score but I was a little slow in the 135° corner test, although perfect in practice (we all were). Andrea did really great and was (as far as I know) the only one out of all of us who regularly scraped the pegs around corners! (What a racer eh!!!).
BTW - I need some hot weather riding gear. Our gear that worked just fine in Canada and the UK for riding is just a sweat box down here in 100°F heat with the humidity factor (it's more tolerable going 20mph+ with the wind). We will be looking for new mesh riding gear and even what they call a "cooling jacket" insert. Even my summer riding gloves got quite sweaty inside.
Mike
VermilionX - I didn't ask. But maybe one of them will join TMW and we will know.
High_Side - ya, ya... lol... Kawasaki Eliminator indeed. I was soooo tired after those 3 days, at least I got the eliminator part right...

LOL. More than likely with NHS dental there (appointments are just 5-10 mins long!) But I think the "all you can drink soda pop" here helped too.
