Yeah, giving up the ST2 is going to suck, but I'm not going to pay $1500+ to make it US street legal. Once I start pulling in the big bucks, would love to eventually own two bikes. Nice solid cruiser, probably Kawasaki Vulcan, for the long distance stuff, but also a naked sport bike for shorter "fun" rides. I like the more agressive riding position on the Ducati, but only for the first few hours, then it starts to get old.

Personally, from looking at what you have done to modify your bike and from some of those holsters you have made, I would say you are still pretty damn good at what you do. I too felt anxiety sometimes when I rode in a new spot. And there are no physical issues with me. But after I did it I realized that it was just a silly fear in my head. Nothing in reality ever went wrong. Just a mental block to be gotten over. Hell, I still have anxiety when I drive a CAR through Atlanta. But I manage it time and time again and nothing has ever happened. Anyway, it took me a long time to get over all my anxiety while riding and to really be comfortable. Give it time.

P.S. I think you are pretty cool. But I'm just a big f@#king dork.
