Very nice, jstark. It's been pouring rain here for a few days.

Found out that a timeshare request for Capetown came through. S now 2 days riding, me and The Goose to get there and 2 days riding back and 7 days by da sea, whoo hoo, HAPPPYYYY New Year

Lots of action -not so much on plot

I just got back from a two-hour ride. It was nice and sunny here and the roads are completely dry. The temperature reached a high of 3C so I wasn't even thinking about it, but my riding buddy Simon called and said, "Let's go!", so we went.

I had just got back from the local animal shelter. Another friend of mine just adopted a dog there last week; she had been going to the shelter with her two kids for a couple of months, looking for the right one. They ask for volunteers to take the dogs for walks, so I went and signed up. My wife and I both work long hours so can't really have a dog (don't want to leave one home alone all day), but taking a shelter dog out two or three times a week is the next best thing.

I go for entertainment. My brain is on overload all week at work so an action movie is perfect.

There sure was some fancy driving in it. Loved that.

Jack Reacher (in the novels) isn't much of a driver. He's also 6 foot 5 inches tall and 250 lbs. I don't remember any driving sequences in "One Shot".

Haven't done it yet, but I'm heading out for sushi with my niece and my great niece. My great, great nephew must be at home with daddy... )

By the way, I just might be doing that on two wheels...




Edit: Yup, took the bike and really enjoyed the sun... And of course my lunch, even though the sushi place was closed...
